Areopagitica, LLC Internships are 15 hours/week 10-week or 10 hours/week 15-week temporary work placements to help students to gain entry-level skills and real-life work experience in the fields of journalism, social media, public relations, marketing, graphic design, photography, videography, radio/audio production, video production, information technology, web development and publication design.
Areopagitica staff provide one-on-one mentorship and supervision to help Interns maximize their educational experience. Each Internship position will have specific requirements and objectives, however generally each position will consist of 12 hours/week on assignments directly related to the position, plus 3 hours/week focused on training, critical analysis, providing feedback for improving our Internship program, and contributing to our media analysis blog.
The Internship program is offered in four sessions per year.

FALL Sep–Dec Session: (Deadline: Jul 15, 5:00 p.m.)
Applicants must be either enrolled in an accredited college or university or preparatory high school in a journalism, social media, public relations, marketing, graphic design, photography, videography, radio/audio production, video production, publication design or other related programs specific to each Internship position and must have a valid US work authorization. Applicants also must have access to a reliable internet connection, transportion, cell phone, and email.
Internships must apply to your course work. Coordination on specifics will take place between Areopagitica and your program advisor. Areopagitica will provide assistance to Interns requesting academic, work-study or practicum credit.
Interns are not guaranteed a job at the end of the internship. Interns are not entitled to wages during the internship, however a stipend may be applied. Our internship program includes organization training and hands-on experience applicable to journalism/mass communication and related fields.
